Why you should have UV400 sunglasses!
UV rays damage the retina
The three types of uv waves emitted by the sun are UVA, UVB and UVC, the most dangerous of which is absorbed by the atmosphere.
Exposure to the sun without any protection from the sun can damage not only your skin, but your eyes as well.
If unprotected eyes are exposed to the sun, a long and intensive irradiation can lead to inflammations of the conjunctiva and cornea.
In the worst case, the visual organ may be damaged in the long term and the lens may become cloudy (cataract).
UV 400 meaning
UV 400 is the category which blocks all light rays with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers. This covers all of UVA and UVB rays.
All sunglasses with UV400 will protect your eyes and filter out harmful rays. Don't think it's safe to be overcast or in the shade, because ultraviolet rays can penetrate clouds even if the sun is hiding behind them.

What is polarizing lens?

Polarized sunglasses are used to reduce glare from smooth surfaces such as water, snow, or glass. Glare distorts the true color of objects and makes them harder to distinguish.
Sunlight can be absorbed or reflected in several different directions. Sunlight that is bouncing off horizontal surfaces such as water, land, or the hood of a car is usually reflected back in a similar horizontal direction.
This reflection produces an agitating source of glare that cannot only create visual discomfort but can also cause a potentially blinding glare. Glare has the potential to create a very dangerous situation, especially while driving.
Polarized lenses contain a laminated filter ( multiple coatings,have good flexibility) that allows only vertically oriented light to pass through. This blocks the horizontally oriented light so that glare is almost eliminated.

Whether the reason is psychological or neurological, there are those who say that the lenses make them feel dizzy or disoriented, while others insist that they create an artificial 3-D effect.
For this subset of individuals, it is possible that the photoreceptor cells at the back of their eyes pick up the vertical light signals differently than the rest of us. Under these circumstances, tinted lenses may be the best option.
There are also occupations that require a worker to be able to read certain digital numbers on a liquid crystal display. Polarized lens sometimes can interfere with the visibility of the numbers and should be avoided.
Why We Need Blue Block Lenses?
In addition to potentially harming your eyes over time, blue light can also lead to eye strain. If you have ever ended up with a wicked headache after staring intensely at an Excel spreadsheet for hours, you’re probably familiar with that particular discomfort. When we noted how blue light contributes to the sky looking blue, we mentioned that this is true because of how blue light scatters. Well, according to All About Vision, this same scattering of the blue light that emanates from screens makes for "unfocused visual ‘noise’ [that] reduces contrast and can contribute to digital eye strain."

Practice the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. (This will help your eyes relax.)
Use eye drops throughout the day to help keep your eyes lubricated while you work at a computer.
Sit an arm’s length (about 25 inches) away from your screen. Most people sit too close to the computer and experience eye strain.
Blue light can interfere with your sleep
If you don’t suffer from eye strain due to increased exposure to blue light, these inescapable rays may still have adverse effects on your health. Any sort of light — regardless of where it falls on the spectrum — can suppress the human body’s ability to release melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep cycles. However, it’s believed that blue light quashes melatonin secretion even more than other hues do. Researchers at Harvard University compared the effects of blue and green light exposure and found that "blue light suppresses melatonin [secretion] for about twice as long as the green light and shifted circadian rhythms by twice as much."
